Texas Ranger Museum Visitor Guidelines

Per CDC and State of Texas guidelines, we will be now be requiring our visitors to wear a mask. This is not only for our safety, but for the safety of our visitors who may not have strong immune systems.

We have Western-style Texas Ranger bandanas available for purchase at the Admissions desk for guests over 2 years old.

Additional preparations to protect our visitors include:

  • Museum employees and guests will wear masks.
  • Guests are asked to maintain 6 feet of social distancing.
  • All exhibit interactives have been removed and touch screen devices deactivated for the duration of the emergency.

Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum

OUR MISSION: To disseminate knowledge and inspire appreciation of the Texas Rangers, a legendary symbol of Texas and the American West; To collect, preserve, study and exhibit artifacts, artwork and archives relating to the Texas Ranger service; To permanently document the service of Texas Rangers past and present.

OUR LEADERSHIP: The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum (TRHFM) is a 50 year educational, public/private partnership between the City of Waco, the Texas Department of Public Safety and private/corporate benefactors. As a an IRS 170(c) governmentally owned non-profit donations are tax-deductible as charitable donations.

MUSEUM HOURS: Opens 9 am - Closes 5 pm | Last guest admitted at 4:30 pm. We recommend you plan 1.5 to 2 hours for your visit to see all the exhibits. | Closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years.

GIFT SHOP HOURS: Opens 9 am - Closes 4:30 pm | Shop may be closed for annual inventory the last few days of September.

RESEARCH CENTER HOURS: Opens 9 am - Closes 4 pm Monday - Friday

PARKING: Free | During Baylor football games, parking is reserved for Baylor Club members.

ADMISSION: Adults: $8.00 | Children (6-12): $4.00 | Children under 6 free | Seniors (60+): $7.00 | Military (with ID): $7.00
