The traveling
trunk program will allow students to understand the complications of
a real crime scene while using modern crime scene equipment and techniques.
From footprints to fingerprints students will have a variety of evidence
to build a circumstantial case. Using the crime scenario and
lab handouts, your class will enter the exciting world of the modern
Texas Rangers and crime lab technicians.
TEACHER INFORMATION
The traveling trunk is an outreach program designed
for traditional classrooms with teacher supervision, not for individual
use. Home
school classes should contact us about equipment needs required for
use.
Cost of the traveling trunk program is $2 per student, with a minimum
of a $20 fee, plus shipping. The two week checkout time begins on the
day of trunk arrival and ends the day it is shipped back to the Texas
Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum. Area schools may choose to pick
up and deliver the trunk personally.
