Welcome! Our goal is to assist teachers with a variety of educational resources — both web based and at the museum — to connect teaching objectives to the museum’s content.

Click on Teacher Curriculum on the menu to the left for ready-made lesson plans that incorporate various subjects including Texas Ranger History, simple and complex map making, art, and literature.

COMING SOON a forensic science curriculum!

The museum offers a special scavenger hunt for schools  groups touring the museum.
Click on Tour Programs to learn more.

Teacher input is helping us build strong educational  programming.  We are always looking for new ideas to fill  the needs of area educators.

Please help us by submitting your feedback and ideas.  If you would like to contact the museum, you can e-mail Rachel Barnett at rachelf@ci.waco.tx.us or phone 254-750-8631.

The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum is a cooperative project of the City of Waco and the Texas Rangers Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety. It is legislatively appointed as the official museum, hall of fame, and research center of the Texas Rangers.
