meaning. Finally the class will color a picture of the
Brazos River and paste it along the Northern side of
the building.

Students will learn about the significance of the
Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and will identify and
label the Museum galleries numbered on the map.
They will also identify the symbols in the key and
their meaning. Finally the class will listen to directions
and draw their route through the museum according
to the compass rose.

The History of A Texas Legacy: A Ranger Service Map Students
will use Internet resources to research and study the legacy of Texas
Rangers and then create a
unique Ranger Service map of the State with a corresponding
legend and written report.
Materials needed:
